Dr. McBroom

Dr. Dedric McBroom grew up in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry after attending UMD for his undergraduate studies. In the past 10 years he has gone from 'the new kid on the block' to 'the old guy'. He has enjoyed every step of the way. In 2001, we moved the practice to our new facility on Maine Prairie Road, it has been a wonderful change for us.

Dedric is married and has two beautiful children under the age of eight that keep him very active and busy at home. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially on the water, be it on the pontoon in the summer or ice fishing in the winter. Other activities of interest include shooting sporting clays, being an avid water fowler, and spending time with his friends.

Dr. McBroom is a member of the St Cloud Dental Society, the Great River Study Club, the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Through these organizations and more, he keeps up with the greatest and latest in dentistry.

Dr. Imdieke

Dr. Aaron Imdieke was born and raised in Sauk Centre and graduated in 1996. He received his undergraduate degree at Moorhead State and graduated in 2004 from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. He joined our team in 2006 after practicing in Cold Spring for two years. Aaron enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and loves to interact with patients of all ages. Working together with his patients to maintain optimal oral health is Aaron's goal.

Aaron is very active in continuing education & local study groups. Most recently he attended The Dawson Center for advanced dental education in St. Petersburg, Florida and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in New Orleans. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, Minnesota Dental Association, Great River Study Club and the St. Cloud Dental Society.

When Aaron isn't busy in seminars or practicing dentistry, he always finds time to catch some walleyes, shoot some ducks or sporting clays or do anything else outdoors. The best thing for the rest of us is he brings in samples of his wildlife cooking, and it is usually fantastic.

Our Office Manager

Sarah

Sarah is a very friendly and personable office manager, she makes everyone feel comfortable and at home with her openness and warmth. She is a mainstay of our office and we are very lucky to have her.
Sarah grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School. After that she went on to the Dental Assisting Program at the St. Cloud Technical College. She was a chair side assistant and has worked at the front desk in her 14 years in the dental field. Sarah brings a wealth of experience and training to her position.
She is a wife and mother of two, so in the little spare time that she does have she enjoys snowmobiling, boating and spending time with her family and friends.

Our Receptionists

Diane

Diane has been with our practice 44 years. She thoroughly enjoys our patients and considers many of them her special friends.

She has covered every aspect of our dental office from chair side assisting the doctors to answering the telephones and scheduling appointments. Diane is here to assist our patients, she will help you in anyway possible.

When not working, she enjoys reading, walking, gardening, trap shooting, shopping and being with her family and friends.

Dorothy

Dorothy came to us from Arbor Vitae, WI in March of 2009. She brings a wealth of experience from working in the dental and Oral Surgery field. She does a great job helping our patients with appointments, questions on their accounts, posting payments, treatment plans or anything else they need. Dorothy is very energetic, funny, friendly and lots of fun to work with.

Dorothy has one son who still resides in WI and one daughter and son-in-law with 6 beautiful children here in St Cloud. She and her husband spend most of their spare time with the grandchildren. She also enjoys walking her dog, reading, gardening or soaking up some rays on her pontoon.

Dorothy is enjoying getting to know all the wonderful patients of River City Dental. She and her husband truly enjoy living in the St cloud area and are making lots of new friends at church, home and work.

Tammy

Our Assistants

Jenny

Jenny graduated from St Cloud Technical College with a Dental Assisting Degree. She works closely with Dr Imdieke, assisting with cosmetic & restorative dentistry. She is very quick and efficient and makes sure all their patients are very comfortable.

Jenny has been with us for 9 years. She is a very high energy person and keeps everyone hopping and laughing.

In her spare time Jenny enjoys snowmobiling or spending time at the lake with family and friends or relaxing at home.

Lisa

Lisa grew up in the Rice area on a dairy farm, she is one of thirteen children. Lisa graduated from Sauk Rapids Rice High School, then St Cloud Technical College with a Dental Assisting Degree. She has been a dental assistant for 20 years. The last 7 years she has been Dr. McBroom's chair side assistant. Lisa says the best part of her job is the patients. Sometimes she gets so involved visiting with the patients she forgets about fixing teeth. She has become very close to these patients so she treats them like family.

In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with her three wonderful children, and her family and friends. She has lots of hobbies: reading, bike riding, running, camping in the boundary waters and enjoying a good cup of coffee with a friend.

Tracee

Tracee graduated from Albany High School and received her Dental Assistant Degree from the St Cloud Technical College.

She has been a dental assistant for over 15 years. Tracee brings vast experience and knowledge to our practice. She is a wizard when it comes to ordering and organizing supplies & keeping up her domain, which is the lab and sterilization area. Plus, she is a dental assistant for both doctors. Tracee keeps our doctors and assistants on schedule. With all her expanded functions and skills, she is a big asset to our office.

Tracee lives in the country with her husband and two very active children. They have 2 dogs and a camper that gets used often in the summer.

Our Hygienists

Michelle

Robin

Robin grew up in the St Cloud area. She has been a hygienist for 30 years, of which 25 of those years have been at River City Dental. She has been a real asset to our office and has a large following of dedicated patients.

Through continuing education Robin has kept up with all of the latest changes in dental hygiene. That has allowed her to thoroughly enjoy her career and provide her patients with the best possible dental care.

Robin has a variety of interests: spending time with family, reading, cooking, vacationing in Jamaica, going to the cabin, and almost anything outdoors.

Diane

Although Diane's home state is northwestern Michigan, after living in Minnesota for 29 years, she feels very much at home here in Central Minnesota.

The St Cloud area has been very good to Diane. At the St. Cloud Technical College, she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting and AA degree in Dental Hygiene. She also has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work and Gerontology. She was also a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy.

Serving people in the health and dental field has been her life mission and she enjoys working closely with individuals one on one.

Outside of work Diane enjoys ringing Old English Hand Bells with her church hand bell choir. She also loves hiking the rails-to-trails and also, tending to two Cairn Terriers, Hattie and Mozart.
